A tv remake of the 1978 hit movie “Kambal sa Uma (Twins on the Farm)” is on set for ABS-CBN which stars Melissa Ricks and Shaina Magdayao.
Kambal sa Uma was originally created by novelists Jim Fernandez and Ernie Santiago for Pinoy Komiks and later on produced to movie by famed director Joey Gosiengfiao and stars Rio Locsin as Ella, Orestes Ojeda, Al Tantay, and Julie Ann Fortich. Introducing then were Dennis Roldan and Isabel Rivas.
In this television premier, Melissa Ricks will play as Ella – a half human half rat character while Shaina Magdayao will portray the role of Vira.Other casts includes Rio Locsin, Bing Davao, Allan Paule, Nonie Buencamino, Valerie “Bangs” Garcia, Jordan Herrera, Matt Evans and Jason Abalos.
Kambal Sa Uma is said to be shown every afternoon this summer on ABS-CBN.
