Binibining Pilipinas 2009 Search

Now in its 45th year, Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. is on its way of searching the most beautiful and talented ladies for 2009 that will represent our country to international competitions such as Miss International, Miss World and Miss Universe.

The following qualifications are required for applicants:

Single ladies
17 to 25 years old
Filipino citizen
minimum 5?5? in height
at least high school graduate
with pleasing personality and of good moral character

The following is needed to come along with the application forms:

original birth certificate or copies authenticated by NSO
certified true copy of high school or college diploma
Philippine Passport if any
Close-up and Full body photos in color
Written consent from parents (if 17 years of age)

I think our bets, Stephanie Rose Senires and Priscilla Mae Honorio, hold a lot of promise to wearing the BB Pilipinas crown back home to Cebu. Stephanie is endowed with an X-factor only beauty experts can read; boy, she’s got the smarts, too. At any rate, it looks like Mae is not going to have a hard time advancing in the finalists’ slot because she’s got that distinct Filipina countenance that can make the judges think of picking her out to represent our country. To think that both have had an experience in Miss Cebu, it will not be that difficult to find confidence in their performance over there in the national level. What with the fact that Miss Cebu alumni (winners and non-winners) are known to have been prepped up with all the pre-pageant activities and the training, and the high energy during the pageant where the girls are asked on-the-spot no-nonsense questions, and the spectators will always expect a Miss Cebu entrant to both be articulate and stand her ground with grace under pressure. Hence, I guess Stephanie and Mae are not going to have a hard time at the Araneta Coliseum come the 2009 BB Pilipinas coronation night.
