Anne Curtis won the Best Festival Actress in the recent 34th Metro Manila Film Festival award held in the Harbor Garden Tent of Sofitel Philippine Plaza for the Php60million movie Baler wherein she is the leading lady of Jericho Rosales. Anne cried as she receives her first ever acting award for her performance.
The host of the event was Boy Abunda. The best picture went to Baler, Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat as second while Iskul Bukol 20 Years After got the 3rd.
